Our projects
We work to make life easier for the key populations.
In order to have accurate and reliable information about the problems of key populations, we conduct various researches. We guarantee security and anonymity, and in return we receive truthful answers to all questions. Thanks to this, we have unique statistics and a database that provide ample opportunities for practical help.
One of the main directions is work “on the ground”. These are outreach trips, testing, assistance, counseling on legal, social, medical issues, distribution of contraceptives and motivational kits, food kits and clothing.
We bring social services to our wards and help wards to get services from social and medical prevention services.
The Aidsfonds project (Emergency Support Fund for Key Population Groups of EECA) “The beginning of effective activity of a new self-organization of the CGN INO “The Right of Everyone”
May-September, 2019.
This project has become our launching pad in constant effective work. We started outreach work: visits, pre/post-test counseling, testing, distribution of means of prevention, information materials, referral to specialists. We developed the first questionnaires, conducted the first enquiries. We created a safe space: self-help groups, face-to-face consultations with a lawyer, a peer psychologist, and held group activities. We began to establish interaction with government agencies.
The Aidsfonds project helped us, a young self-organization, to develop a project and grant history, systematize statistics, and start project activities. We were able to impart the voice of key populations more effectively at the level of state regional structures.

Research among women with HIV, implemented in partnership with the Association E.V.A. (St. Petersburg)
September 2019 – April 2020.
The research was conducted by two organizations: INO “Right of Everyone” (Orenburg) and the Association “E.V.A” (St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod). We investigated the factors influencing the preservation / maintenance of the reproductive health of women with HIV and vulnerable to it, in the context of violence, incl. psychological disempowerment of women and gender inequality. We studied the barriers to access to health, social and legal services. We conducted questionnaire of 312 respondents (provision of sexual services for a fee, drug and psychotropic substances abuse for non-medical purposes, transgender) from several regions of Russia: St. Petersburg, Leningrad Region, Nizhny Novgorod Region and Orenburg Region.
36.9% of respondents believe that they have been subjected to violence by a sexual partner. A significant part of them were / are on drugs (45.8%), partners of 41.5% of respondents were on drugs, 45.5% have hepatitis C, 17% were serving a sentence in the place of detention, 8.5% of respondents were / are engaged in sex work. 70% of those surveyed were aware of sexual and reproductive health services and believe that they receive the same services as any other women. 70.6% did not apply for help and/or support when faced with a situation of violence. The most common reasons for non-applying are disbelief in possibility of its receiving and fear of disclosing personal data. Those who asked for help and did not receive it were most often refused due to alcohol/drug addiction.
The results of our research have shown the most important aspects in women’s lives in relation to gender equality and human rights, gender-based violence, economic and political opportunities and the impact of all these factors on the sexual and reproductive women health. They are necessary to confirm the need to remove legal barriers in the access of women with HIV and vulnerable to HIV to medical, social and legal assistance, incl. help in situation of violence.
“HIV Prevention with a Focus on People Who Use Drugs”
October 2019 – October 2020
Three times a week “Right of Everyone” conducts constant outreach. The goal is to prevent HIV infection and improve the quality of life of people who use drugs. We distribute syringes, condoms, and motivational kits. We advise and support on health, social and legal issues. We carry out self-testing for HIV with consultations. We accompany to the AIDS Center for registration. We keep HIV-positive on treatment.
Behind these official wordings there is painstaking, voluminous, regular work regardless of the days of week and day time, establishing unique for the region direct contacts with sex workers and people who use drugs, and real “field” statistics. Our instructors are trusted with the most personal which is hidden from the official bodies, they receive help and support from our team, and this is the main value of the “Right of Everyone”.
